Fan Information for the Hertha Game

On Sunday afternoon (February 1st, 1:30pm), SV Darmstadt 98 will play away against Hertha BSC. This report provides you with all the important information for your visit to the Berlin Olympic Stadium.

Arrival/Parking

By car/nine-seater:

From Hamburg/Rostock:

Take the A24 towards Berlin. At interchange 26-Havelland, keep right and follow the signs for the A10 towards Leipzig/Magdeburg/Potsdam. Take the B5 exit towards Berlin-Spandau-Zentrum. Follow the road until you reach Passenheimer Straße.

Turn left onto Passenheimer Straße. PO7 will be on your left.

From Dortmund, Hannover/Magdeburg:
Take the A2 and then continue on the A10 towards Hamburg (northern Berlin Ring). Take the Spandau exit (Heerstraße/B2/B5). Turn left from Heerstraße onto Passenheimer Straße. PO7 will be on your left.

From Munich/Nürnberg, Leipzig:
Take the A9 towards Berlin and then continue on the A10 (Berlin Ring). Keep right, continue on the A115 and follow the signs for Berlin-Tegel Airport/Berlin-Zentrum/Zehlendorf/Potsdam-Zentrum. At Autobahnkreuz 1-Dreieck Funkturm, keep right and follow the signs for A100 towards Hamburg/Wedding/Zentrum/Messedamm ICC. At the fork, keep right, follow the signs towards Zentrum/Messedamm/Messegelände ICC and continue onto Halenseestraße. Follow the road as it curves onto Messedamm. Turn left onto Masurenallee.

At the roundabout, take the fourth exit (Heerstraße/B2/B5). Follow Heerstraße until you reach Passenheimer Straße and turn onto it. The PO7 will be on your left.

By coach:

Arrival by coach is similar to arrival by car. However, when arriving from the north, please note that Heerstraße is currently restricted to 18 tons.

Coach buses park on Jesse-Owens-Allee, and if this is full, they can also park on Passenheimer Straße.

Parking:
GPS address for P07: Parking lot, Passenheimer Str. 32, 14053 Berlin

Various parking lots are available around the Olympic Stadium. The official away parking lot is P07. The parking fee is €10. Disabled parking spaces are located in parking lot P05. Parking is free with a blue or orange parking permit. Otherwise, parking is free along Heerstraße.

Those associated with the active fan scene are permitted to park near the coaches (Jesse-Owens-Allee). Parking on Jesse-Owens-Allee is free. All other 9-series vehicles and cars must use the parking spaces (PO7).

Arrival by public transport:

We recommend taking the S-Bahn (suburban train) to Olympiastadion station. Take either the S3 or S9 towards Spandau/Olympiastadion station.

Important: At Olympiastadion station, please take the exit towards Flatowallee!

Regular match tickets are NOT valid as public transport tickets around the time of the game.

Stadium

General Information:
– The stadium opens 90 minutes before the start of the match, i.e. at 12 noon.
– New ticket scanners have been installed at the stadium entrances compared to last season. To ensure the scanners can read your tickets without any problems, please adjust your screen brightness and hold your smartphone/ticket steady at a distance of 20-30 cm from the device.
– There will be no physical ticket office on match day. However, tickets for the away section can still be booked via smartphone using a QR code to the left of the south gate.
– It will be available from Friday, throughout the day, via this Link to offer the option to purchase tickets for the guest area:
– The guest area is located in blocks G, H and 15-17.
– Fans with tickets for the away section should use the left side of the south gate.
– Guest fans with disabilities and mobility impairments can enter through the middle gate of the south gate.
– The east gate is reserved for home fans.
– Outside the guest area, wearing away fan clothing is prohibited.
– We ask all visiting fans to avoid the area in front of the east stand.
– Only bags up to DIN A4 size (297mm x 210mm) with a maximum depth of 15cm are permitted in the stadium. Anything larger (e.g., backpacks) should remain on the bus, in the car, or at the train station. Alternatively, there is a bag storage facility (€5) in the containers between Coubertinplatz and PO5.

Miscellaneous:
– Alcoholic beer is served in all areas.
– In the guest area, at certain food stands, there are also vegan bratwurst and currywurst, as well as fries and pretzels as an alternative for fans who eat a vegan or vegetarian diet.
– Payment can be made in cash, by card or contactless (Apple/Google Pay).

Fan paraphernalia:
The following fan materials are approved:

– 3 x megaphones (already allocated)
– 5 x drums (already allocated)
– maximum 10 large swivels (larger than two meters stick length)
– Smaller flags (up to about 1.5 meters in length) and fence flags are unlimited.

Equipment bags can be taken into the stadium after inspection.

The Olympic Stadium:
Hertha BSC is taking a clear stand against right-wing extremism. In particular, spectators wearing clothing from the company „Thor Steinar“ will be denied entry to the Olympic Stadium. Furthermore, flags, banners, signs, etc., with offensive letter combinations (e.g., NSDAP or similar), words, or slogans, as well as clothing with such inscriptions, are not permitted.

With the start of the 2022/23 season, the „Where is Lotte?“ protection concept was launched. A safe space is available for those affected by discrimination of any kind—such as sexism, racism, or homophobia—where they can seek support and assistance. Psychosocial emergency care is available on-site, and there is contact with the medical services.
