Arrival / Parking

Cars/9-seaters/Fan buses:
The „Messeplatz“ parking lot is designated for cars, 9-seaters, and fan buses (navigation address: Entersweilerstraße 1, 67657 Kaiserslautern – the Messeplatz is on the right-hand side, approximately 100 meters beyond the destination address).

For both the A6 and A63 motorways, we recommend taking the „Kaiserslautern Centrum“ exit. Continue along Mainzer Straße, turn left onto Donnersbergstraße, and follow this road for approximately 1.5 km before turning right onto Barbarossastraße. The „Messeplatz“ parking lot is on your right-hand side. From there, the away fan area of the Fritz-Walter-Stadion is approximately two kilometers away on foot.

Due to the stadium’s location in a residential area, there are no parking spaces available in the immediate vicinity!

Public transport:
Fans arriving by train must leave the main station at the south exit, follow Zollamtstraße to the left, and turn onto Malzstraße at the roundabout. Follow this road until the guest fan entrance (Werner-Liebrich-Tor).
The ticket entitles them to travel on all buses, trams, and approved trains (DB: RE, RB, and S-Bahn, all in 2nd class) within the Rhein-Neckar Transport Association (VRN) on the day of the event until 3:00am the following day.

There is no shuttle service from the main station.

Fans with limited mobility:
Fans with limited mobility (except wheelchair users), provided they are unable to climb steps, can take the P+R Shuttle KL-Ost/Schweinsdell to the East Stand/guest entrance at Werner-Liebrich-Tor via the Kantstraße exit. The route is step-free and the incline is quite slight.

Opposition Check: SpVgg Greuther Fürth

It was the sixth matchday of the 2017/18 season, a sunny Sunday in September, and the second division fixture between SpVgg Greuther Fürth and Fortuna Düsseldorf was on the schedule. With Florian Neuhaus, Friedhelm Funkel, and Serdar Dursun on or off the pitch, the duel ended 3-1 for Fürth – thanks in part to a brace from Dursun. At first glance, probably just a typical second division victory. But historically significant and unforgettable for everyone in Fürth.
