Fan Information: Nürnberg (A)

On Friday evening (08/08/6:30pm), SV Darmstadt 98 will host 1. FC Nürnberg. In this report, we'll provide you with all the important information for your visit to the Max-Morlock-Stadion. For those who decide at the last minute: There will be a box office on match day.

Arrival / Parking

Cars/Buses:

For all fan buses (€15) and car drivers (€5), we recommend the „Große Straße“ parking lot. The parking lot is signposted from the motorway (Nürnberg junction or motorway exit N-Fischbach) via the traffic guidance system. Simply follow the „Guests“ signs. The walk to the guest entrance is approximately 10-15 minutes. An environmental sticker is not required.

Train passengers:

Guest fans traveling by train will be escorted by the Federal Police to the subway (Line 1 towards Langwasser-Süd) at the main train station. Exit at the „Messe“ stop. From there, walk through the Messe parking lot toward Große Straße, from where the footpath to the guest area of the stadium is signposted. The ticket entitles you to use the subway before and after the game. The walk from the subway station to the guest entrance of the stadium is approximately 15 minutes.

Stadium

Stadium opening and box office:

  • The stadium gates open 90 minutes before kickoff, which is at 5pm on Friday.
  • On match day, there will be a box office located next to the away entrance.
  • Please note that when you leave the standing area, you will be issued with control tickets, which must be handed over to security upon re-entering the area (you will need another ticket).

  • Fabric flags up to 2m pole length
  • Double holder made of fabric up to 2m pole length

Further Information:

  • There is a cantor’s platform in Block 25a. Use is at your own risk.
  • The burning of pyrotechnic items is strictly prohibited!
  • Backpacks and Bags: Smaller, easily accessible backpacks or even fanny packs are permitted after inspection (they can also be deposited free of charge at the guest entrance). Larger backpacks or bags must be left at the guest entrance.
  • Cameras: Bringing cameras, video cameras, or similar media up to 15 cm long, including the lens, is permitted for purely private use. Taking photographs, films, videos, or audio recordings for commercial use or public display is prohibited.
  • Alcohol: Alcohol controls are relatively strict; as is the case everywhere in the league, fans who are under the influence (blood alcohol level 0.8 or impaired) may not be admitted. Full-strength beer will be served.
  • Catering: Food and drinks can be paid for in cash and by card throughout the stadium.
  • TetraPaks with non-alcoholic beverages are permitted up to 0.5 l.
  • In principle, reusable cups and bottles are distributed throughout the stadium according to the “cap off principle”.

An eight-goal thriller to close out the season. The SV Darmstadt 98 U21 team took to the pitch one last time this season on Saturday (May 30th) – away against FC Eddersheim. The young Lilies secured a 5-3 victory in Eddersheim, finishing the 2025/26 Hessenliga season in eleventh place. Even more remarkable, however, was the U21's run at the end of the season: the Blue and Whites won their last five matches, scoring an impressive 22 goals in the process.

For the fourth time, the Haftpflichtkasse insurance company and SV Darmstadt 98 have jointly awarded four clubs with the Volunteer Award.
