Lilies strengthen with Corredor

SV Darmstadt 98 has hit the transfer market again and secured the services of Killian Corredor. The 23-year-old, who can be used across the attacking third, is moving to the Lilies from the French second division club Rodez AF.

Paul Fernie: „In addition to his finishing skills, Killian Corredor also has a good eye for teammates and his type of player gives us additional variability and creativity in the front third of the attack. He is a busy player who, with his large radius of action, is particularly useful as a hanging striker or behind the forward line. We are pleased that he has chosen our club despite the availability of other options.“

Torsten Lieberknecht: „Killian is a dynamic player who has speed and moves cleverly in the gaps with his routes. He demonstrated his footballing skills last season, but at the age of 23 he is far from finished I’m looking forward to continuing to develop his footballing talent.“

Killian Corredor: „I’m looking forward to my time at the club and to the exciting league. The discussions with those responsible were very good and have confirmed to me that Darmstadt 98 is the right step for me. Now I want to be getting to know the processes on the field and my teammates.“

After Corredor’s football training at FC Toulouse, the Frenchman joined Rodez AF for the 2021/22 season, for whom he has since played in France’s second division. Last season, Corredor played in 44 games across all competitions and drew attention with 19 goals and eight assists. Corredor will wear number 34 for the Lilies.

Welcome to Darmstadt, Killian!
