SV 98 withdraws from X

At the start of the second half of the season, SV 98 will withdraw from the social network X.

We have followed the development of the platform very closely and critically in the recent past. And we also struggled with whether our presence on X was still justifiable. Especially with the developments in the last few weeks, red lines have been crossed that are no longer compatible with our values. We no longer want to appear on a platform that as a whole is drifting more and more into the right-wing populist corner and is now even trying to actively influence the election campaign for the upcoming election in Germany.

We would like to express our thanks to our loyal followers, some of whom have accompanied us there for many years. Until the very end, we tried to maintain a harmonious and positive culture of conversation on this platform.
