May 19, 2014. This date alone puts a smile on every Lily's face. The day on which probably the craziest game in the history of SV Darmstadt 98 took place. The miracle of Bielefeld. The Lilies spectacularly won the relegation 4-2 after extra time against Arminia Bielefeld and were promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. The players from back then? They became legends that day. And exactly these heroes from Bielefeld will be there next Sunday (October 27th/1:30pm) at SV 98's home game against SSV Ulm from 12pm live in the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of May 19, 2014. Back in May, a 90-minute documentary was created on the SV Darmstadt 98 YouTube channel to mark this unforgettable day. On Sunday, the legends of yesteryear will be duly celebrated in the Merck Stadium at the Böllenfalltor.
Whether the coaching team around Dirk Schuster and Sascha Franz, top scorer Dominik Stroh-Engel, winning goal scorer Elton da Costa or captain Aytac Sulu, Jerome Gondorf, Hanno Behrens and many other heroes from Bielefeld: They will all meet in small groups before kick-off against Ulm at 12pm in the stadium circulation area and be available for selfies, autographs and a chat or two about that time. During the half-time break there will be an interview on the pitch with the entire 2014 team. Of course, the lap of honour in the Merck Stadium at the Böllenfalltor should not be missed either.

Despite falling behind, Darmstadt secured their second consecutive home win! Darmstadt defeated Energie Cottbus 3-1 (1-1). The home side equalised after conceding an early goal in the four-minute period through Weißhaupt before halftime. Vukotic headed his team into the lead in the second half, before Lührs sealed the victory with the third goal. This home win brings Darmstadt's season total to seven points.
