Paul Fernie: „Vuko has developed into a true leader since his transfer. When we signed him, we were naturally aware of his tackling ability and aerial prowess, but it’s clear to see the progress he’s made at various levels over the past season. We’re therefore very pleased with his continued commitment to the Lilies.“

Aleksandar Vukotic: „I feel incredibly comfortable in the team and the entire club. From day one, I felt that my strengths fit in very well with the Lilies, and I’ve been able to develop further both as a player and as a person during my time there. I’m looking forward to my future in Darmstadt and to experiencing many more special moments with the team.“

Vukotic moved to Darmstadt from SV Wehen Wiesbaden in July 2024. In his debut season, the defensive giant appeared in 35 competitive matches and scored four goals. At the season opener against VfL Bochum, the Serb also played the full game and secured the victory with his goal to make it 4-1.
