Fan trip to El Saler

From January 9th to 12th there will be a direct flight from Frankfurt to Valencia, where the travel group will be welcomed at the airport by the SV 98 fan service. From there we will continue our journey together to a 3 or 4 star hotel close to the center in Valencia.

Three transfers to training sessions or test games for the Lilies will be offered until Sunday. These may take place well outside of Valencia. After one of the training sessions, there is a meet & greet with individual players and club officials in the team hotel.

In order to get to know Valencia, the country and its people even better, the program includes a city tour (with German translation) and a convivial final evening with a large paella meal at a local football club. All fellow travelers will receive an exclusive training camp fan scarf as a souvenir. Of course, there is still time to explore the city on your own or to visit the Estadio Mestalla of Valencia CF. The return journey to the airport takes place late on Sunday afternoon – SV 98 fan support will be on site in Valencia throughout the entire travel period and will be available to provide all participants with advice and support.

The club informed Holland of this decision in a confidential meeting. Both club and player agree to focus entirely on achieving the best possible end to the season until the final match and that any plans for a farewell celebration will depend on how the rest of the season unfolds.

Opposition Check: SpVgg Greuther Fürth

It was the sixth matchday of the 2017/18 season, a sunny Sunday in September, and the second division fixture between SpVgg Greuther Fürth and Fortuna Düsseldorf was on the schedule. With Florian Neuhaus, Friedhelm Funkel, and Serdar Dursun on or off the pitch, the duel ended 3-1 for Fürth – thanks in part to a brace from Dursun. At first glance, probably just a typical second division victory. But historically significant and unforgettable for everyone in Fürth.
