Transfer News: Stark Strengthens U21’s
The U21 team of SV Darmstadt 98 can welcome a familiar face to their ranks for the upcoming season: Yannick Stark will play for the Lilies in the Hessenliga in the future.
At the end of October, severe storms shook the greater Valencia area, and torrential floods devastated large parts of the province on the east coast. SV 98 has a special connection to this region, as the Lilies have held their winter training camp in El Saler, south of Valencia, in recent years and will also be preparing for the second half of the season there next January. In order to support those affected by the flood disaster, the sports club is organizing a collection campaign at the home game against Münster (November 30th / 8:30pm) in which all stadium visitors can donate their deposit cups for a good cause.
SV 98 charges a deposit of 2 euros per cup on match days, which will be refunded upon return. During the game against Preußen Münster, you now have the option of waiving the deposit and handing in the cup at one of the collection points in the stadium area. All proceeds go to the sports club “Castellar Oliveral C.F. Pobles del Sud”. As a result of the severe storms, the entire club premises are covered in a layer of mud. Access gates, changing rooms and training materials have largely become unusable and must be renovated or replaced.
The sports grounds are only a few kilometres away from the “Parador de El Saler”, the Lilies’ training camp home.
SV 98 will be able to move into its training camp in El Saler next January as planned. Nothing stands in the way of registering for your first member trip. You can find all the information about the trip and how to register here.
