The match starts at 2pm.

The Southwest („Lilienschänke“) and Northwest („Karl-Hess-Platz“) entrances open two hours before kick-off, at 12pm.

Arrival/Parking/Departure

SV 98 asks all „Lilien“ fans to arrive at the Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor early and—if possible—by public transport, on foot, or by bicycle.

Please note: Due to construction work during the summer holidays, trams are not running to the stadium. As a replacement, HEAG is operating line 9E buses between the „Luisenplatz“ and „Böllenfalltor“ stops.

Please allow plenty of time for your journey.

Away fans / Portsmouth fans

  • You can enter the ground via the north-western entrance ‘Karl-Hess-Platz’ or south-western entrance „Lilienschänke“ (see stadium map). Both entrances are accessible via Nieder-Ramstädter Straße.
  • Your seats are located in section N1-N3.
  • To get to the stadium we recommend the bus line 9E, direction ‘Böllenfalltor‘ – stop ‘Merck-Stadion’. Unfortunately, the ticket for this friendly does not include public transport. There are very few parking spaces at the stadium. If you are travelling by car, we recommend using car parks in the city and travelling on by tram.

Around 8,500 kilometres separate Darmstadt and Seoul, while the Lilien will cover more than 12,000 kilometres during their 17 away matches in the 2026/27 second-division season—and sometimes, just a few laps on a 400-metre velodrome are enough to get a story moving. No matter how varied these distances may be, this week they all lead to the "Bölle." SV 98 is welcoming South Korean player Hojae Lee to Darmstadt; on Friday (July 31st) at 10am, the Lilien will unveil their new away kit for their travels across the country; and the "second 'second team'" looks back on a successful friendly match at a truly unique venue.
