Matchday Compat: All Information for the Lautern Game
SV Darmstadt 98 travels to Kaiserslautern on Sunday afternoon (August 31st at 1:30pm) at the venerable Fritz-Walter-Stadion. Before the away game, we've summarised everything you need to know about Matchday 4 in our "Matchday Compact."
The Stadium
The Fritz Walter Stadium, formerly known as the Betzenberg Stadium or simply „Betze,“ was built in 1919 and hosted five matches of the 2006 FIFA World Cup, held in Germany. The stadium is named after Fritz Walter, a Lautern legend and the first honorary captain of the German Football Association (DFB).

I don't think the last few games mean anything for Sunday's game, because an away game at the Betze is always something special. Kaiserslautern plays differently at home than away. This is also evident from the fact that they have picked up 17 of their last 18 points at home this season.

Nach Testspiel: Meet & Greet im Trainingslager
Lilienfans aufgepasst: Auch im Rahmen des diesjährigen Trainingslagers des SV Darmstadt 98 in Bad Wörishofen, welches vom 19. bis zum 26. Juli 2026 im Allgäu stattfindet, wird es wieder die Möglichkeit geben, die Mannschaft zu treffen, sich auszutauschen und natürlich auch wieder Autogramme und gemeinsame Fotos zu ergattern. Das gemeinsame Fantreffen findet am Samstag (25.7.) nach dem Testspiel gegen die SG Sonnenhof Großaspach statt. Anstoß des Testspiels ist um 12 Uhr.

Bundesliga Confirms Matchdays 3 to 6
The Bundesliga finalised the match schedules for matchdays three through six on Wednesday (July 15th): Darmstadt's home game against Hannover 96 on matchday three will take place on Sunday. This will be followed by their away game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern on Saturday at 1pm. The home game against Arminia Bielefeld on Friday evening and the away game in Wolfsburg, also on Friday evening, have also been confirmed.
Transfer News: Kleinhansl Signs for SV 98
The Lilies can welcome another new arrival at the Böllenfalltor: Florian Kleinhansl will now wear the SV 98 jersey. The 25-year-old joins on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with 1. FC Kaiserslautern on June 30th.
