Organisational information for the home game against Braunschweig

On Saturday (13.09/1pm) SV Darmstadt 98 welcomes Eintracht Braunschweig and asks you to observe the following information.

Fundamentally important for everyone:

  • There are still a few remaining tickets in the home area, which you can buy here.
  • Guest fans (blocks X1, X2) must use the North-East entrance (Böllenfalltorweg) and show their printed ticket.
  • Wearing fan paraphernalia of the visiting team is not permitted in the home section on the back straight and the south stand.

Stadium opening and kick-off time

Kickoff is at 1pm. The stadium opens 90 minutes prior.

The parking garage for away fans opens at 10am.

Arrival/Parking/Departure

SV 98 asks all fans to arrive early, if possible, and to use public transport, on foot, or by bike to the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. The RMV journey is included in the ticket price.

Orientation plan

Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor: Der Stadionplan.

Entry situation

The stadium has four entrances, which are divided into home and away areas:

  • Home area (North, South and Main Stands as well as the Back Straight): Access via the South-West (Lilienschänke), North-West (Karl-Hess-Platz) and South-East (Traisaer Straße) entrances
  • Guest block (X1, X2): Access only via the North-East entrance (Böllenfalltorweg)
  • VIP guests: Access via the separate North-West entrance (Karl-Hess-Platz)

Tickets

The game is nearly sold out. Use the Ticket exchange as remaining tickets may still be available for purchase. A ticket office for the away section will be open until kickoff.

  • Tickets can be upgraded on match day for a fee at the service point (Böllenfalltorhalle entrance) in front of the stadium.
  • Children up to and including 5 years of age do not require a ticket and can enter the stadium free of charge. Children 6 and older require a child’s day ticket.
  • A limited number of referees are available in the home area. Referee tickets (standing) are available at the service desk next to the entrance of the Böllenfalltorhalle.
  • We would like to point out that fake tickets or unauthorised access will be reported to the police (fraudulently obtaining services).

Guest Fans

Arrival
  • Coaches: Parking P7 via Klappacher Straße/Böllenfalltorweg
  • Cars and minibuses (up to 2m high): Can access the TU Darmstadt public parking garage P8 via Heinrichstraße/Eugen-Kogon-Straße.

A parking fee in cash is payable at parking areas P7 (guest buses) and P8 (cars, minibuses up to 2m):

  • Coaches: 25€
  • Minibuses: 10€
  • Cars: 6€

Please pay attention to the detailed arrival information and use only the „North-East“ entrance on Böllenfalltorweg.

Coaches should contact our fan support team in advance for directions.

Stop throwing cups!

Last season, we observed an increase in the throwing of cups, and as a result, we not only received penalties from the DFB Sports Court for this, but also had to issue numerous nationwide stadium bans.

Please refrain from throwing objects! You endanger other people and are committing grievous bodily harm according to Section 224 of the German Criminal Code. It doesn’t matter whether the cup actually hits and injures someone.

Cannabis consumption remains prohibited

The consumption of cannabis is still prohibited under current legislation (ban in sports venues).

Away fans in home areas

Based on recent experience, SV 98 would like to draw your attention to the following rules and precautions applicable to this match:

The wearing of fan paraphernalia of the visiting team is not permitted in the areas of the back straight (blocks G1-G3, A, O2 to O4) and the south stand.

The club, the police, and the stewards are entitled to deny access to these areas to visiting fans, even if they have a valid ticket, and/or to remove them from these areas and, if sufficient space is still available, to relocate them to the away section of the stadium. If no other suitable seat can be offered, the affected visiting fan may be removed from the stadium or denied access to the stadium; in this case, no compensation is payable.

Note to fans of the Lilies

SV 98 generally welcomes members using their pre-emptive right to provide gifts to those close to them. However, for the future, it cautions that passing tickets on to fans of the visiting team can always pose potential security risks or even diminish the Lilies‘ home advantage – one should not assume that one is the only Lilies fan doing others a favour. Pre-sales are exclusively for SV 98 members and fans. According to the established ticket terms and conditions, anyone who uses their pre-emptive right to provide gifts to visiting fans must expect a restriction of their preferential rights, up to and including revocation of their season ticket/membership.

The (profitable) resale of tickets, regardless of the means, is completely unacceptable. If discovered, this will result in the immediate cancellation of the ticket, rendering the ticket worthless for the purchaser as well, and no refunds are possible. SV 98 reserves the right to take further measures, such as cancellation of the season ticket, revocation of membership, or bans from the stadium. Instead, if you are unable to attend, you are welcome to use the dedicated ticket exchange at sv98.de.

SV 98 is obligated to provide up to 100 tickets in the top category (main stand) to the visiting club. Sales are the responsibility of the visiting club.

Full standing blocks

The standing areas are expected to be almost completely full for this game as well. SV 98 therefore requests all fans to arrive early and reserve places as far away from the steps and block entrances as soon as the stadium opens. Fans should never stand on the steps or directly in the entrance area. As a result, your friends in your block may not be able to access the stands or leave them safely – regardless of medical services. It’s only possible together!

Experience has shown that there are still gaps, especially in the lower rows or the outer areas of the blocks, while congestion builds up at the block entrance at the start of the game. Furthermore, fewer standing tickets were sold than would have been permissible. Nevertheless, everyone’s support is needed to ensure a pleasant experience for all fans.

Weather

Temperatures of around 17 degrees Celsius are expected in Darmstadt, with cloudy weather. The probability of precipitation is 25 percent.

Left hook, 'One hundred and eightyyyyyyy', and hand over the baton. Doesn't sound like football – and that's true. KSC is often associated with professional football, but with the sheer number of titles the club has won, it's worth looking beyond the pitch. Titles from Baden-Württemberg to Rome.

Bölle-Energy

As Florian Kohfeldt approached the team's dressing room at halftime, the Darmstadt head coach heard exactly one sentence: "It's not finished." Fraser Hornby had uttered it, setting the tone for his teammates and himself. What followed was a remarkable second half from Darmstadt 98 and a point against SV Elversberg, a point that, while likely insufficient for their promotion hopes in southern Hesse, nonetheless filled the Darmstadt fans with pride.
