Organisational tips for Christmas Carols
On Saturday evening (December 21st) the big Darmstadt Christmas singing will take place in the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. The organiser is SV Darmstadt 98 Stadion GmbH. In this message you will receive all the important organisational information for the event presented by Merck.
There will be a box office on Saturday itself. This is located in the ticket shop in the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. Only standing room tickets for the back straight will be available there. A surcharge of 2 euros will be charged at the box office compared to the advance purchase price.
Stadium opening and start of event
- Merck Stadium opens at 4:30pm
- The stage program starts at 6pm
- The end of the stage program is around 7:45pm
Arrival/Parking/Departure
Please note that the parking lot in front of the stadium is not free to use.
If possible, SV 98 asks all guests to come to the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor by public transport, on foot or by bike. The journey with the RMV is included in the ticket price. There will be special tram trips before and after the event.
Orientation plan
Entry Situation:
- Please only use the south-west (Lilienschänke) and north-west (Karl-Hess-Platz) entrances.
- VIP guests: Access via the separate north-west entrance (Karl-Hess-Platz)
- It is not permitted to take bags and backpacks larger than DIN A4
Tickets:
There will be a box office where tickets will only be available for the standing room section of the back straight. A surcharge of 2 euros will be charged at the box office compared to the advance purchase price. Children under 4 years old do not need a card. From the age of 5, children need a children’s day ticket.
Food:
- The kiosks in the stadium are open and sell cold and warm drinks in addition to food
- Payment is possible in cash and by card
Miscellaneous:
- Songbooks with the lyrics to sing along will be distributed free of charge in the stadium.

Lilies win in Walldorf
SV Darmstadt 98 won their fourth pre-season friendly. The Lilies defeated regional league side FC-Astoria Walldorf 4-1 (0-0) after 120 minutes.
After the friendly match: Meet & Greet at the training camp
Attention Lilien fans: During SV Darmstadt 98’s training camp in Bad Wörishofen (Allgäu region)—taking place from July 19th to July 26th, 2026—there will once again be an opportunity to meet the team, chat with the players, and, of course, get autographs and photos. The fan meet-up is scheduled for Saturday, July 25th, following the friendly match against SG Sonnenhof Großaspach. Kick-off for the match is at 12pm.

Bundesliga Confirms Matchdays 3 to 6
The Bundesliga finalised the match schedules for matchdays three through six on Wednesday (July 15th): Darmstadt's home game against Hannover 96 on matchday three will take place on Sunday. This will be followed by their away game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern on Saturday at 1pm. The home game against Arminia Bielefeld on Friday evening and the away game in Wolfsburg, also on Friday evening, have also been confirmed.
Transfer News: Kleinhansl Signs for SV 98
The Lilies can welcome another new arrival at the Böllenfalltor: Florian Kleinhansl will now wear the SV 98 jersey. The 25-year-old joins on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with 1. FC Kaiserslautern on June 30th.
