It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of our former player Sebastian Hertner. The professional footballer, who played for Darmstadt from 2018 to 2020, passed away far too soon at the age of 34.
Hertner recently spent about a week observing operations in Darmstadt to gain insights into various departments at the club.
Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. We will cherish the memory of Sebastian Hertner.

The SV Darmstadt 98 U21 team unfortunately came away empty-handed last Saturday (April 18th) visiting KSV Baunatal: The young Lilies conceded the decisive goal late in stoppage time, resulting in a 1-0 final score.
