Arrival/Parking

Cars/Buses/Nine-seaters:
For all fan buses (€15) and cars or nine-seater vehicles (€5 each), we recommend the „Große Straße“ parking area. The route to this parking area is signposted from the motorway (at the Nürnberg interchange or the N-Fischbach exit) via the traffic guidance system; simply follow the signs marked „Gäste“ (Guests). The walk to the away entrance takes approximately 10–15 minutes. An environmental (emissions) sticker is not required.

Please note that the „Consumenta“ consumer fair is currently taking place at the Exhibition Centre (Messe Nürnberg), which may result in limited parking space along „Große Straße.“

Train/Public Transport:
Visiting fans arriving by train will be directed by the Federal Police at the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) to the underground train (U-Bahn line 1, heading towards Langwasser-Süd). Please exit at the „Messe“ station. From there, continue across the exhibition centre car park towards „Große Straße,“ where signs will guide you to the away section of the stadium. Your match ticket entitles you to use the underground train both before and after the game. The walk from the underground station to the away entrance of the stadium takes approximately 15 minutes.

Stadium

Stadium Opening: The stadium gates open 120 minutes before kick-off—which, for Saturday’s match, means 11am.

Matchday Ticket Office: A ticket office will be open on the day of the match, located next to the away entrance.

Security Checks: Please note that when leaving the standing terrace, you will be issued a re-entry pass. You must hand this pass back to the security staff upon your return (you will also need to present your original match ticket again).

Backpacks and Bags: Small, easily inspectable backpacks or waist bags are permitted, subject to a security check (these can also be left free of charge at the away entrance). Larger backpacks or bags must be checked in at the away entrance (a €2 fee applies). As space is limited, we recommend leaving larger bags or backpacks in your vehicle.

Alcohol: Alcohol checks are relatively strict. As is the case throughout the league, fans who appear intoxicated—defined as having a blood alcohol concentration of 0.8 per mille or higher, or showing visible signs of impairment—may be denied entry. Full-strength beer is served.

Catering: Food and drinks can be purchased throughout the stadium using cash or card. Non-alcoholic beverages in Tetra Pak cartons (up to 0.5 litres) are permitted. Throughout the stadium, drinks are served in reusable cups, and bottles are provided with the caps removed (“cap-off” policy).

Cameras: Cameras, video cameras, and similar devices are permitted for private use, provided they do not exceed 15 cm in length (including the lens). Capturing photos, film, video, or audio for commercial purposes or public display is prohibited.

Accessibility: For fans with disabilities, the point of contact at 1. FC Nürnberg is Roswitha “Rosi” Friedrich. She can be reached via email at friedrich@fcn.de or by phone at 0171/1937562.

Permitted fan materials:

  • Drums (visible from one side)

  • Megaphone

  • Fabric flags with a pole length of up to 2m

  • Fabric double-pole banner with a pole length of up to 2m

  • Fabric waving flags in Block 25a

  • Fence banners

Further information:

  • There is a podium for a lead chanter in Block 25a. Use is at your own risk.
  • The setting off of pyrotechnic items is strictly prohibited!
