On Saturday (3 May/1pm) SV Darmstadt 98 will host the Hamburger SV team and asks you to observe the following information.

SV 98 asks all Lilien fans to arrive early, if possible, and to use public transport, on foot, or by bike to the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. The RMV public transport service is included in the ticket price.

During the last season, we observed an increase in the throwing of cups, and as a result, we not only received penalties from the DFB Sports Court for this, but also had to issue numerous nationwide stadium bans.
Please refrain from throwing objects! You endanger other people and are committing grievous bodily harm according to Section 224 of the German Criminal Code. It doesn’t matter whether the cup actually hits and injures someone.
The consumption of cannabis is still prohibited under current legislation (ban in sports facilities).
Based on recent experience, SV 98 would like to draw attention to the following rules and precautions applicable to this match:
The wearing of fan paraphernalia of the visiting team is not permitted in the back straight (blocks G1-G3, O1-O4) and the south stand (S1 and S2).
The club, the police, and the stewards are entitled to deny access to these areas to visiting fans, even if they have a valid ticket, and/or to remove them from these areas and, if sufficient space is available, to relocate them to the away section of the stadium. If no other suitable seat can be offered, the affected visiting fan may be removed from the stadium or denied access to the stadium; in this case, no compensation is payable.
SV 98 generally welcomes members using their pre-emptive right to please people in their circles. However, for the future, it cautions that passing on tickets to fans of the visiting club could always involve potential security risks or even reduce the Lilies‘ home advantage – one should not assume that one is the only Lilies fan doing others a favour.
The (profitable) resale of tickets, regardless of the means, is completely unacceptable. If discovered, this will result in the immediate cancellation of the ticket, rendering it worthless for the purchaser as well, and no refunds are possible. SV 98 reserves the right to take further measures, such as canceling season tickets, revoking membership, or banning from the stadium. Alternatively, if you are unable to attend, you are welcome to use the dedicated ticket exchange at sv98.de.
SV 98 is obligated to provide up to 100 tickets in the top category (main stand) to the visiting club. Sales are the responsibility of the visiting club.
The standing areas are expected to be almost completely full for this game as well. SV 98 therefore asks all fans to arrive early and to reserve spaces as far away from the steps and block entrances as soon as the stadium opens. Fans should never stand on the steps or directly in the entrance area. As a result, your friends in your block may not be able to access the stands or leave them safely – regardless of medical services. It’s only possible together!
Experience has shown that there are still gaps, especially in the lower rows or the outer areas of the blocks, while congestion builds up at the block entrance at the start of the game. Furthermore, fewer standing tickets were sold than would have been permissible. Nevertheless, everyone’s support is needed to ensure a pleasant experience for all fans.

You'll also receive a ten percent discount in the fan shop during this time.
Darmstadt's 2-1 defeat at Karlsruher SC also ended any remaining theoretical hopes the South Hessian club had of finishing the season in the top three. The loss at the Wildpark stadium served somewhat as a symbol for the past few weeks, during which SV 98 had only managed one point from five matches since the international break in March. Following the game on Sunday afternoon, the Darmstadt players addressed the assembled media representatives with mixed feelings.
Three points! SV Darmstadt 98's U21 team secured a victory in the Lotto Hessenliga on Saturday afternoon (May 2nd). In their match against Hünfelder SV, the young Lilies overcame an early deficit to clinch a convincing 3-1 win. This result puts the U21 team currently outside the relegation zone. "Our trend is clearly upward," said a delighted U21 coach Sebastian Schmitt.
The successful collaboration between the Hessian Disabled and Rehabilitation Sports Association (HBRS) and SV Darmstadt 98 will continue long-term: Both partners have extended their existing agreement to promote inclusive sports indefinitely. This sends a clear signal for the sustainable development of inclusion and disability sports in Hesse.
A bitter end in Karlsruhe: After 90 entertaining minutes in which both teams sought salvation in attack, Darmstadt suffered a narrow defeat. The final score was 2-1 after a late goal from the home side, following Isac Lidberg's earlier equaliser. After the match, the players were particularly frustrated with the missed opportunities in the first half.
The away form continues to be poor: SV 98 suffered a 2-1 (0-0) defeat against Karlsruher SC. Lidberg scored the equaliser for the team from southern Hesse in the 70th minute.
Darmstadt 98 visit Karlsruher SC on matchday 32 (May 3rd, 1:30 PM). Florian Kohfeldt has made five changes to his starting lineup. Killian Corredor replaces the injured Fraser Hornby, Aleksandar Vukotic comes in for the suspended Patric Pfeiffer, and Fabian Holland starts in place of Matej Maglica, who is sidelined with an ankle injury. Merveille Papela and Niklas Schmidt also join the team, replacing Sergio Lopez and Yosuke Furukawa. Continuity in sporting management: SV Darmstadt 98 has extended Paul Fernie's contract early and for the long term. As part of the contract extension, the current sporting director will move into the club's management board and will now serve as managing director of sport.

Despite a spirited performance and playing with one man less, the score after 90 minutes was 3-1 in favour of Hummetroth.
