SV 98 sign Paul Will

Paul Will joins the Lilies: The 25-year-old defensive midfielder comes from Dynamo Dresden on a free transfer and is the third summer signing from SV Darmstadt 98.

Paul Fernie: „With his personality and his player profile, Paul Will is an excellent fit for Darmstadt. We have emphasised that we value the necessary greed and passion in this transfer window. Paul fulfills both components, and he also impressed us with his high level of game intelligence. With him we get a football-loving team player who works a lot for the team and should give us stability in the defensive midfield.“

Paul Will: „As a native of Hesse, I have definitely followed the development of the Lilies in recent years. Paul Will was trained in the youth ranks of TSG Wieseck and 1. FC Kaiserslautern before joining FC Bayern Munich in 2018. The player, who was born in Biedenkopf, played in 40 games for the U23 team of the record champions. In the summer of 2020 he moved to SG Dynamo Dresden, with whom he immediately achieved promotion to the second division and played in 23 games in Bundesliga 2. in the following season. In total, Will was active in 129 competitive games for the SGD.
